About me

Laura is a counsellor with experience in multi-migration, CBT, ACT and Motivational Interviewing. Originally from Italy, Laura has lived in Hong Kong for 18 years. She studied at Birkbeck College, University of London and then worked in Italy as an Assistant Professor at the University of Genoa, Department of Economics. In Kiev (Ukraine) she worked for the Chamber of Commerce, and helped children and parents after Chernobyl as a volunteer. After dedicating her time to her two children, now teenagers, Laura has continued her education with the Master of Counselling from Monash University, Australia in order to be of help to others.

After working for years in the financial and economic arena, she has a personal and professional understanding of the effects of executive and work related stress, particularly in a fast paced city like Hong Kong. Laura also has experience of people struggling with various forms of addiction and can provide assessment and intervention.

As a person-centred counsellor, she believes that each client needs a tailor-made therapy.
With understanding and empathy, Laura can help clients to find the best solution for

their problems and work towards their recovery and wellbeing. Laura is available for in-person and ONLINE sessions.
